What weird things have you made?

What unusual things have you made?
I was sat pondering after making heated covers for my daughters Degus ( think large gerbil) yes the fabric does have daschunds riding t-Rex with rainbows- using leftovers from pj pants for her.
they chew them so they last about 10-14 days each if I'm lucky.

So for a good few years I made monster costumes as one of my jobs so I've made multiple mustle suits, various monster skins, including one with lots of mouths all over it's body, a dinosar, werewolves, some alien looking thing from a computer game and so on :)  I also once made a coat with no arms and very wide shoulders out of very shiny glitter vinyl which slipped so much i ended up using masking tape on all the seams to allow the sewing machine to grip them then had to pick it out from under all the stitching !

This is my weird make - meant as a lovely bag for the stitch festival for Debbie, completely did the straps wrongly and though that my 5ft tall friend was actually a giraffe 😀.  I couldn't even put it on my shoulder 😀😀. Debbie has refined the design 😂 so that she can take it tomorrow. Mine on other hand didn't get finished in time.

Oh that is adorable!! One thing I've never made is a dog coat- which is silly considering we have two poodles! One happily wears any Christmas jumper of daft Halloween costume my daughter puts her in. Nigel isn't so keen on outfits lol
