You can't beat a trip to Walthamstow Market, there's a shop there that sells a metre of fabric for Ā£1 - I don't know how they earn a living. I also like BeyondthePinkDoor and Pound Fabrics

So far I have only purched fabric online from Pound Fabric, but have been impressed with the fabric that I have received. The only disadvantage was that their Jersey fabric did not show stretch percentage.
