If anyone has joined a recent wednesday evening social, you may recall me talking about the September Fabric Godmother Dream Wardrobe Subscription box. It was 4.5m of ivory Boucle Fabric with the new Fabric Godmother Arbre Coat pattern.
It was an interesting box, I dont hate it but the pattern and fabric combo is giving Sheep Vibes. 🐑🐑& I'm not good with light coloured fabric - I somehow always make a mess!
Anyway so I decided I'm going to make it up as at the end of the day it's good practice and I mean I won't get my money back even if I sell the box on, so lets take this opportunity to make a coat (everyone is telling me I should!) in a fabric I've never used - and the fabric is too bulky to just sit in the stash!
So that journey started today - I don't know when I will end.
I hoovered the bedroom carpet so I could lay as much of the fabric out. I have 2 tab coloured dogs so let me tell you fabric doesnt stay its lint/fur free for long! I just need to cut it out but my back hurts from crawling on the floor so im sharing here instead! 😂
