What are you, or have you, been sewing as gifts this year?
Gift Sewing

I decided it would be a great idea to sew everyone a tote bag using various scrap fabrics from previous projects. Any fabrics where I've ended up with an odd 50cm has been used, some have pockets and they are all line as well.
All cut out and labeled but still to be sewn up! I made a tutorial for a simple tote bag on YouTube a few years ago so will be using this. youtube.com/watch?v=zXSnQ-83LZw
Wow. You have been busy
What a great idea for using up those bigger pieces of scrap.
It's massively reduced my stash of large scraps - very pleasing!
12 tote bags (one already gifted) all finished! Not only did I used up loads of leftover fabrics from previous fabrics, I also emptied 5 bobbins of previously wound thread and each bag has a label selected for each recipient!

I've just started the Nightingale Zipper Case. Fabric cut and quilted. Hoping to get it finished this weekend to be wrapped for Christmas.
Beautiful fabric from Frumble Fabrics. The colours are gorgeous.
Ooh that fabric is beautiful!
Well, of course I sewed 8 pairs of knit pj bottoms from size 4 to 2xl, if it never see flamingo fabric again, it will be too soon, lol
My gave my friend her "elevated leisure outfit" and it fit like a glove and she loved it!! I was very nervous, but she tried it on and ended up wearing it home.
I also make the shawl collar sweater for my husband and he loved it as well, I gave it to him as soon as I finished it 🤪
Ah so pleased the leisure outfit and the shawl collar sweater worked out and were well received! And yes I have to admit after sewing 12 tote bags I'm glad they are all wrapped up under the tree now!
