Is this a good reason to rehome the cat?

I was tidying my sewing space and opened my box of paper patterns. Unbeknownst to me, my cat that likes to chew cardboard has got in there and made rather a mess. Lots of tiny bits of patterns.

😂 my cat Hamish likes the tissue paper patterns as well and I've often turned around after hearing a rustle when cutting out thinking he's safely asleep in the other room to find him in the middle of my pattern pieces that are now sellotaped back together or have claw marks running through them.

Hi Adele,

I, too, have to make sure he is not around when sewing too as he tries to play with the fabric and needle. All my cats seem to know when I am cutting out. Somehow they all appear often with muddy feet. Luckily he is the only one that chews the paper!

Aww thank you Hayley. I have been busy with doing other things. I haven't sewn anything at all. But some of that has to do with disappointment with that trouser fitting I was doing. I followed the book, sewed them up then showed my daughter. She said that no way was I going to go out like that!  Took a photo. I took them off then promptly undid them. I have since watched lots of YT trying to work out how to fix them. So it wasn't exactly a success. It will be OK though, I will sort them.

Ah yeh I get how that can be disheartening - I'm sure you will work out the best way to fit them though. Hope to see you in the New Year!
