Cotton poplin

Hi everybody, this might be a daft question, could somebody tell me please is cotton poplin the same as viscose poplin or are they at least very similar?

Hi, they are quite different - a cotton poplin has a lot less drape than a viscose poplin. It's slightly heavier than a cotton lawn and is often (but not always) more narrow.

A viscose poplin has a lot more drape and is softer but is a bit easier to work with than other lighter weight viscoses.

Poplin is the weaving technique but can be done in cotton or visocse fibres
