Hi all, we have a very special free virtual sewing social coming up on Saturday 10th May at 7pm. In this special 1 hour event (although I'll probably continue a little bit after if you want to stick around) we are being joined by two YouTube sewing stars - Tamyln from Sewn On The Tyne and Caitlynn from CaitMakes. Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Vicki and I'll be at the sewing social next weekend (and tomorrow for anyone joining then too!) I've been joining the socials since February and I absolutely LOVE them!
I'm not sure yet what I'll be working on next Saturday - possibly a pair of Closet Core Mitchell trousers as I'm trying to be brave and branch out into sewing my own trousers.... or possibly the Madswick Studio Beth blouse as I'm so excited for that pattern to be released next week that I might not be able to wait to sew one up!

I'll be there Saturday night and this morning.
I have a special family wedding next Sunday, so Saturday night, I'll probably just be chilling with a glass of something cold and possibly last minute sewing buttons on!
This morning I'm planning on working my current Zoe dress from Emporia Patterns in the beautiful starfish poplin I received in a previous SHJ box.
I love meeting new people and I love sewing, so these virtual sewing sessions give me so much joy and all from the comfort of my own home.
