My top SewHayley Jane moment was being featured in the magazine what pleasure and a privilege I was so honoured. Each time I log onto the socials I love it sooo glad they are remaining. Love them.

My top moments (there are many!)! The unboxing surprise each month, right from my first box to the last one, never knowing what's going to be in there. Receiving fabrics I wouldn't have chosen, I'm now a pattern convert instead of always using plains. Favourite fabric is probably a toss up between the cottage garden and the paisley from earlier this year. And to feature in the magazine, my 15 minutes of fame! My wardrobe that fits me at the moment is almost totally SHJ! I love how Instagram creates the text of toile as twirl!

Going forward, I'm going to miss the boxes but ThreadySetGo has been a joy, with the online sewing socials, meeting new people, having a chat and a laugh. Such a great idea. Along with the pattern club. Looking forward to whatever comes next, I'm sure it will be brilliant.

Well I have only been signed up to the boxes for a year, so it was bittersweet to know the final months box was my 12th and I will treasure my thank you card.

The synchronicity of the theme of this months box was mad, as it is something I am very much engaged with right now - lots of acorns in my life currently! It gave me a very warm feeling :)

Also, to my surprise one of my makes featured in the last ever magazine, I did a double take when I saw that!

Thank you Hayley for a year full of wonderful boxes that I was able to partake in. You have built an amazing community and your brand will continue under Thready Set Go. I am looking forward to joining the Falconer pants pattern club in June! x

my first and last box arrived today. I love the fabric and the magazine details. I'm so glad I was able to snag one subscription of this box. Thank you Hayley. I'm looking forward to making the Lane pants with the linen/viscose fabric.

When my last box arrived on Friday, I just sort of held it my hands and had a little walk down memory lane. I looked through all of my magazines and my Stash Hub, where I 'store' all of the gorgeous, luscious SHJ fabrics. As I unpacked my goodies, I remembered all the times the boxes were my guilty little pleasure! I had a ritual for each unboking. 1. No unboxing vlogs, lest I ruin the surprise 2. Run to my sewing room and close the door as I did not want any random interruptions 3. Carefully unwrapping it all and catch my breath at the contents. 4. There may have been some oohing and ahhing along with some fabric stroking/petting going on at this point 5. Straight into the machine and while I waited for the cycle to complete, 6. Getting a glass of wine, finding a people-free corner and reading the mag, every word. 7. Lovingly refolding the fabrics and dream about what they will become. Granted, as unboxings go, mine is pretty boring, lol. But I wanted to dedicate time to each box and truly appreciate how my little monthly gift to myself made me feel - not like it's just another package. I'm sorry that the boxes are a casualty of our financial realities. Hayley is correct about people having to cut back and prices skyrocketing. This is my 5th year sewing and seeing current fabrics going for £25- £35 for a meter of a simple viscose or cotton poplin is crazy. I do still have many of my SHJ fabrics and now I'm glad I didn't just rush to make something but instead am making more considered choices and shopping my stash.  Hayley, you were a big part of connecting my sewing in the US to the sewing community in the UK. And I'm so happy we can still connect here. Big hug and many thanks. xoxo
