My newest make. Really pleased how it turned out. I've never done a collar or button stand before, couldn't believe it when it worked!! lol. Fabric is a gorgeous baby cord, but boy does it make a mess before finishing off the edges. I did size down, which I then panicked about and thought it might be too tight, but when it all came together is fits perfectly. Oh and I added 10cm to length too. 🪡🧵🪡🧵🪡😁

Oh thank you. Xx i only made it in that as I'd seen a picture of similar and thought why not? Not that I had any idea if it would work like. Yeah viscose for me next I think, love the drape of viscose. Be nicer for the warmer months too I think. Xx
It's a great idea - I'll definitely try and make a needlecord version for next autumn (but I agree with you about the mess when sewing with it!)

Your dress is beautiful! I love this pattern. I made my first with the cotton lawn from one of my luxury boxes. It is one of my favorite dresses. I then made it from a beautiful purple baby cord from minerva. I got so may compliments- wonderful pattern.
Oh thank you. Yeah I want to make it in something more drapy next, I think cotton lawn is the way to go. Wish I could just make my mind up from my stash which to use!! lol xx and I'm thinking shorter with short sleeves for summer.. xx
