Jeans

I made another pair of jeans.

The original pattern was a Jalie one but I've altered it and adapted it so much that it is now a hybrid of my fittings and Jalie's base. When I first finished them I didn't like them but after wearing them and realising how comfortable they are I think I may grow to like them.

The denim isn't of the best. It feels smooth on the outside but then quite rough on my legs. I think they may need a few more washes to soften up.

When I added the back pockets I made an error and they are not on level but I haven't changed them thinking that no one is going to stare at my backside long enough to see that they aren't balancedl!! I also did the top stitching on the fly front too low down. That I did unpick and resew as I could see that and it would bug me.

I didn't do any topstitching on the legs. Partly because I'm not sure I wanted bright orange stripes down my legs and partly because I CBA.

Glenda these look amazing, the fit is so good! What ever you've done with the fitting the pattern has worked an absolute treat, and that top stitching is spot on.

These look great.  How long did it take you to go from the original pattern to this fit?
