I don't think these turned out too bad. I did a toile made a few adjustments, which on the whole worked okay.
These included, using 1 x larger size for the front pieces, taking a triangle out from the back as I had some gaping, shortening the rise by 1" and the length by 3", taking out 3.5" from the width (not sure I did that correctly).
There are some drag lines across the front, I think that's partly my sewing (somehow my waistband is higher on one side). I've used a needle cord which is quite lightweight, a lot lighter than the calico I used for the toile and my insulin pump is in my pocket (I'm intending on adding a specific pocket directly onto the waist band for that). Maybe I should have gone up a size on all of the pieces, not just the front pieces. Although I'm really happy with the fit around my.
The wide leg is okay for casual trousers after taking 3.5 inches off and I was guessing how to do that, but I'd like some less wide legs for the office.
So I'm going to have a look at another pattern, possibly back to the Tilly & The Buttons Thea's but using the pattern piece from the Falconers for the front and back rise for some work trousers and see how that goes.
I do like these so will be asking on the social how to take some of the width out correctly.
