I used fine needlecord i already had. I did not want time use expensive material first my first ever jacket make. To my amazement it worked. Everything including the vent are even 😁. I learned how to make the shoulders narrower. First fitting they were over the shoulder. The only anxious moment was the button. I was terrified about ruining it at the last moment. Button holes are not normally a worry. I have learned a lot doing this late summer/early autumn jacket. I have two lots of denim arriving supposedly in the next hour, soon to be made jackets.
Thank you Hayley for pushing me further

Mine is made from denim chambray. With lining from a duvet cover so not sure exactly what the fabric is but close to satin. Added the heart button for a pop of colour at the front.
