This is the large version of the Tote Bag by Kandou Crafts. It comes as a pdf pattern which is easy to follow and well illustrated.

The Carrie Tote Bag is a half-and-half rectangular tote bag sewing pattern with instructions for making two different sizes.

A quick and easy sewing tutorial with full-scale pattern templates to make a stylish, original project bag. Templates included so no need for measuring, BUT if you want to work from measurements, full instructions are provided so you can just cut and sew without having to print.

These rectangular, wide base tote bags are perfect for knitting, sewing, or embroidery projects on the go. The distinctive shape makes them both practical and stylish and - use it for DIY projects, take it shopping or out to lunch! Make it in contrasting plains or prints - the possibilities are endless and the choice is yours!

The Carrie tote can be made with leather OR two-tone fabric handles that match the 'half-and-half' design of the bag - instructions for making both are included in the pattern.

Hi Wendy, so sorry I must have missed this last week! This bag looks so gorgeous!!! I love how the label gives it that professional finish - where did you get the lovely fabrics from?

Hi HayleY,

Many thanks. The red fabric is just heavyweight cotton from a local shop (I'm in Switzerland) and I bought the blue fabric on Etsy from ForestFabricSewing.  It's called - Echino - cotton linen - Plum flower tree Japanese Fabric Blue (medium weight 55% linen and 45% cotton).
