Wanda wrap dress pattern sizing

Hiya everyone

I'm just getting round to making the Wanda wrap dress by  Wardrobe by me which I received in a SHJ box ages ago 😆

As it is a jersey dress it has negative ease and I wondered  if I should stay with my usual size or if it comes up smaller or larger.

What are your experiences?

I would always recommend cutting out according to your body measurements - the negative ease will have been accounted for. You can check against the finished measurements as well but as it's a wrap you would be able to wrap it tighter or looser.

If you're not sure try toiling the bodice without sleeves - just remember the weight of the skirt will pull the bodice down a bit so if the waist feels a touch high it will likely come down a bit after the skirt is added

Thanks Hayley

I know you've made this pattern and it looked fabulous on you so I thought I'd  give it a go.

Thanks for the advice - it is very much appreciated x
