Hi, I have a really lovely print fabric from Rainbow that's just arrived today. It's a very lightweight rayon jersey with loads of drape and lots of stretch. Any suggestions as to patterns? I'm thinking about a skirt and so far thought about Simplicity 1616 which I've never made. But I'm open to anything!
oooh thats really pretty! Hmm... I can't think of any skirts for rayon jersey off the top of my head, the simplicity pattern looks like a great one.
I love faux-wrap dresses for this type of fabric like the Sew Over It Georgie Dress, or a maxi style like their Lucy T-shirt dress
Did you decide on a pattern for this gorgoeus fabric?
I did- I've cut out a simplicity 1616 maxi skirt. Need to get it sewn up! The fabric is very light and quite slippy so I'll have to be a bit careful, and I suspect it might be a bit sheer so I'll think about that too 🙂
