I actually bought an old quilt in solid blue at Goodwill (2nd hand store) for $6.99 and I plan on making a jacket with it.  I also bought a plaid flannel on clearance at a quilt shop and I am planning on making a shacket.  I have too many single items that don't necessarily match anything,  so I'm thinking of making more dresses.  Now I have to find the perfect pair of boots.  I just donated mine that had heels, which I no longer want to wear.

I have a Maison Fauve Cuba Libra dress cut out to sew before I really get into autumn sewing. But I also have a Marlo card and Mitchell jeans cut out fir me and a trudy turtleneckand maisie blouse cut out for my daughter.

Ooh, it froze and when I tried to edit, it submitted it. So sorry for typos. My other plans are to finally pluck up courage to sew that metropolis jacket - just get that fba done on the pattern. I think that might be a complex make. Finally, I purchased that book 'sew pants that fit' that was mentioned in a sewing live and want to work through that, so need some fabric and pattern for that.

Great plans Karen!! The Marlo looks so cosy, sounds like you've got plenty to be getting on with

I recently made the Cuba libre dress - it's a great pattern and fit.

I love Maison Fauve patterns (they have some gorgeous fabrics as well).

I'm planning to do the Lillian fitted blouse from sew over it, sinclair eden wrap dress and the tempete blouse from maison fauve.

I have a big project which will take some time (more like over the winter!) which is a dress pattern from simplicity #8289.

Yes, I had a request for a dress suitable for an end of year 11/gcse celebration. It's nearly 2 years away, but I will need that time as I am so busy!
