Trouser patterns

Hi! Hayley's post about not wearing just jeans and jumpers all winter hit too close to home! The only trousers I have are jeans or loose summer things. I similarly always run cold.

Does anyone have good trouser pattern or fabric recommendations so I can wear something different? Corduroy or twills or anything that's not just denim again?!

Yes Han!!! I love leggings and knit dresses/chunky cardigans. The Falconer Pants from Helen's Closet I think would work well in corduroy... but I am definitely here for more recommendations!

I just bought another Sew Liberated pattern - Pinyon Pants. They have a sample version in corduroy I'm going to give a try! Falconers could be a good shout, but I've only made the barrel leg version and the others look a bit wide...

Yes I think the wide legs might be a bit too.... airy for the colder months! The Pinyon pants look like a good shout. I've been hearing lots about the Ann Tilley Magic Pants pattern - they look great!

I love my Billy dresses from TATB with thick tights, actually find that combination warmer than trousers where the chilly wind always manages to make my legs cold.
