Help me in my quest to get out of jean and sweatshirts this autumn... I am on the hunt for sweater dress patterns that I can wear over leggings. I'm looking for something with a waistband and then a skirt attached so that it fits snuggly at my chest and then flares over my hips.

I have just made the Anne Tilley Handmade Magic pants in a chambray. I made a few mistakes first time, so am going to have another go. I like in Cairns Australia so won't be doing a winter fabric, but I think a needle cord might work well.

I had never heard of this pattern until last week and now the name has cropped up a number of time - they look so good! Definitely need to give them a go
