I want to make something to wear, for either me or one of my girls (5 + 8) but I'm nervous. Can you recommend an easy pattern for me to start with please? Maybe one that has a video tutorial too as I'm very much a visual learner.

I recommend Tammy Handmade Hena trousers and/or Etty camisole (it's a free pdf pattern too!) as a first make. Tammy has a YouTube channel and her tutorials are very clear and understandable. Like you, I'm a visual learner and I've learned so much from Tammy's channel & patterns. Happy Sewing x
