Hi everyone, I have some 4.5oz denim and was wondering do I need to use a denim needle or can I get away with using a regular universal needle?

That, I think, is quite light for denim, and I would be tempted to make a guess at a needle size and try it on a trial scrap (I always do that anyway)

I used an 80 needle on my Frida shirt which was a 4.5oz denim fabric and it worked well, if that's any help!
