Pintucks / Ironing On Seersucker Fabric?

I have bought some lovely seersucker fabric for the first time.

Should I iron it as a normal cotton?

Does anyone know if a blouse pattern with pintucks will look good in seersucker fabric?

I love the crisp yet sooft seersucker fabric and I don't want to ruin it.

It really depends. If your pintucks match up with the paving of the seersucker I think it would be a really nice effect. But the tucks may fight with the seersucker making puckers and waves. I would definitely do a sample piece of the tucks to see how it looks.

Pressing? It’s fine, the texture will return after washing. Just keep in mind that the returned texture will make the garment fit tighter, so make sure you size with enough ease.
