Hi all, I have had this problem in the past and I can't remember but I think I resolved it simply by making sure I did certain things in order. My problem is that my buttonhole attachment is not functioning. I set the buttonhole choice on my sewing machine attach the adapter put in the button pull down the white lever and all it does is either just go on forever in one place or just go straight forever any help would be much appreciated!

Does the white lever you lower ever come in contact with the attachment? I think that's how it knows when to move to the next step.
