Yesterday my bobbin pulled the ultimate stunt — it ran out exactly as I finished a seam. With just one inch of thread left, it made its dramatic exit when I pulled the fabric off the machine. That’s not sewing, that’s winning the Olympic finals of bobbin chicken!

Yes, I found buttons so I have no need to go shopping for buttons. They were in a box that I inhereted from my mother.

Competition Winner
I needed longer ties on an old knit skirt. I went into my unorganized scrap closet and actually found a remnant of the original fabric. I cut some strips and sewed them to the original ties. Took all of 10 minutes.
