Hello I’m New Here

Hello I’m Tami. I’m 51 years old. I have 2 young adults and 3 grandkids. I live in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. 🌲I think I started sewing in 2018. I sew a lot of knits but more recently I’m enjoying wovens. I made my first quilt last year….never thought I’d be interested in quilting. Sewing is such a journey. It’s become my therapy -a good outlet for work stress. I have just one real life sewing friend-my daughter’s friend whom I give sewing classes. Other than that, my sewing community has been virtual. A neighboring city is opening up 2 garment fabric stores and sewing studio next month which is huge in my rural neck of the world.
