I'm thinking of adding a bi-monthly book club to the live events - something low-key and fun where we can chat and discuss the books - I might find some questions as well to help get the conversation going.
I won't do sewing themed novels all the time but thought that might be a good place to start. So if anyone has a recommendation let me know.

Ive just recently finished a book called The Wedding Dress Sewing Circle, it was set in wartime and the story focussed alot on clothing rations, i finished it on holiday last week in Kos and i popped it on the book sharing shelf that hotels have, I went back to the shelf about 20 mins later just to see if it had gone (not thinking it would have) but somebody had already taken it! Love sharing books x
I’d love to join that group Hayley. I am currently listening to a non fiction audiobook whilst sewing. It’s called Threads of Life (A history of the world through the eye of a needle) by Clare Hunter. It’s really interesting and thought provoking.
I do love that book Anniehen. Clare Hunter did a free Zoom about it with a local literary group. I'm not part of that group, but those of us who sewed for Scrubs Up were invited to join for free.
