I a new to the forum, but I was gifted a Belvedere model R939B and can not figure out how to thread it. I am an experience sewer, but always on a singer, and this one is much deterent to thread. I have search the internet trying to find a manuel with know sucess. Does any one have this machine and could send me instructions or direct me to where to get the manual. Oh that's a shame - there's another thread a couple of posts back "Any vintage sewing machine aficionados out there?" - you could try asking there as there's a few sewists in there who might have some tips
Can you share photos of your thread guides and tension control? I do a bit of explorative tinkering with vintage and antique machines, so while I am not familiar with your specific unit, I might be able to supply some feedback.
