Almost Blouse.

I have finished my toile of the almost blouse. I was super careful with the size, I also makes the sew line on my machine, double checked my measurements for a correct sizing toile. I found this blouse fits tight. Not a problem as I am two thirds of the way through a weight loss journey and will fit shortly. I intend to make the next toile a size up until then. I made bust size 38” but even though I will go up to 40” I still need to cut the size 38” neck and collar. It sits perfect and the next size would be too far onto my shoulders.

It is a blouse that under estimates it look until you put it on and then the neckline sings.

Love the collar/neckline. Sounds like it’s been well worth doing a toile for this blouse.

This is looking fab Sandra, I'm always interested to hear how much consideration you put into the toiling process - you're much more thoughtful than I am!!!

It is losing weight that has had me make to do it, especially as it is not dropping off in even body proportions as yet. Bust and waist four and a half inches each but hips only one and a half inches and that has only just happened. So toiles until the last one and a half stone reached for all patterns.
