I was making this top in my first Thready sewing social a couple of weeks ago. It’s from Pattern Emporium. These are my first bubble sleeves and I love them. So much so, I’ll be doing this style of sleeves at various lengths on some other tops and blouses. This one is made in double gauze. It feels lovely on, but when I make the pattern in future, I’ll bring in the neck opening at the sides, as it slips to the sides a bit.
This looks beautiful!! I love that type of sleeve, definitely want to do more.
although the first time I made them I sewed them on inside out; so the lining was on the outside. It took me a while to figure out what I’d done wrong
We all do silly things at times don’t we? I expected them to be confusing, but found them pretty straightforward.
