This Is My First Post..a Summer Dress Pattern I Ordered

It is on it's way in the mail. I need something simple but cool to make. The tie sleeves are cute and look like will make for an easy fitting. Also love that it has pockets and several length options.

It depends on which of my fabric stash has the correct amount of fabric as to which one I use. Most are cotton blends or calico's. I will need between 5 and 6 yards, so will need to measure them.

yes! Both at the waist and on the scoop neck front and back at the neckline. I will have to drop the waist as I am tall and long waisted. I have so many projects going at once....It may not be done to wear this summer. I hear we will be having an Indian summer tho. It looks like the kind of dress which may fit through several size changes over the years. I like that!

Looks cute and hopefully simple. Is the 5-6 yards for 45" fabric?

Hello! Oddly, it shows the same yardage for both 45" and 60" for all lengths and sizes. I read over the instructions and it seems pretty basic and simple. Small projects at a time that add up to a delightful whole. Can't wait to make this!

oh, wait! I reread the sizing chart and the above is only true for the three listed larger sizes. It does not take as much fabric for the XS, Sm, and Med. That leaves Me out! ha!
