Hello all, I am about to emabrk on this and have added it my Sewing Room as a project. This is what I have written:
The pattern is Moonlight tunic by Closet Core, which I have made a few times (am leaving out the pockets)
This is a semi-transparent silk organza. I am going to line it with a black lining (can't remember the fabric). Because I don't want the seam facings to show, I propose to cut the main fabric and lining together, baste together, and sew as one. I will then use the main fabric as the facing.
I haven't used this technique before and would be grateful for any advice. There is no hurry as family commitments prevent me from going into the sewing room until next weekend. Thanks all!
