Has Anyone Made Their Own Heat Pads

Hi,

I’m looking at making some reheatable heat pads for gifts and for myself. Does anyone know of any tutorials or patterns/instructions on how to make these?

I’m mainly wondering about filling, paddings etc. any suggestions welcome!

Hi Mel, Sorry I missed this. I made some hand warmers a couple of years ago, I used uncooked rice which worked well although they didn't hold heat for very long. Lentils also work too.
