My second pair of Wardrobe By Me Bubble Pants. This time in the gorgeous, soft Vintage Textured Cotton from Guthri and Ghani. Worn here with the buttoned version of the Perfect Puff Sleeve Blouse from Matchy Matchy. This is made in a beautiful cotton voile from the much missed Sarah’s (enjoying her retirement).

Those are so cute! you did a great job on this outfit. The colors are beautiful together. I have made two pair of underpants from Wardrobe by me. I really enjoyed working with her patterns. Which other pants of hers did you make? I would like to make more by her but am very tall and not sure what height they are made for. I hope you have more items planned for retirement days!
Thank you. That’s very kind. My others are from the same pattern, but I paired the ‘balloon’ aspect down! You can see them as part of a black and white coord in an earlier post. I actually don’t like WBM patterns. I have made several and aside from this one, I always have trouble with the sizing and well, inaccurate drafting, so I won’t buy anymore from this designer. I’m glad you have had better luck with the pattern you’ve made of hers.
Wow, that is such good info on the inaccurate drafting. i only made undies..how hard could they be? What pattern companies do you feel are quality from your previous makes? I would appreciate it...as i am looking into more independent patterns these days...especially for plus size..although you are luckily not:}
There are lots of great independent patterns companies. I can name some, but Maybe start another thread asking for Indie pattern company recommendations. I’m sure other group members will be happy to respond. Amongst my favourites are Elbe Textiles. Tessuti Fabrics, The Patterns Room, Merchant and Mills, Matchy Matchy Sewing Club, Elle Stitch and Sewing Therapy. You can find them all on the website The Foldline Patterns. They can also print the A0 PDF files for you. You can select that on the page for each PDF pattern pattern. I hope that helps.

i am in the pacific northwest (oregon-usa). I went to all your suggested sites and saved several patterns for possible futures buys. I just purchased six indi patterns from places such as Pattern Emporium, Deer & Dow, Shrimpcuts from Etsy, Seamwork, and Helens closet. I am having them printed and sent from an etsy company from pdf downloads. Now, to actually do some sewing and stop just buying patterns and fabric. haha. thanks for the suggestions. I saved the pages..I could get lost all day in the Foldline patterns page.
