I have finally finished my Elmstead pinafore (Itch to Stitch pattern) which I kept insisting on calling the Emerald pinafore at some of the socials when I first started (put it down to menopausal brain!) I’m very pleased with the end result. It took longer than expected due to life, unusable sewing room for 2 weeks & after attempting to sew in a lining that didn’t work out, unpicking to remove & then to add binding to neck and armholes as per the pattern.

I wore it today but forgot to take a photo all dressed up 🤦‍♀️ and although there are a couple of very tiny blips that I may go back in to correct I completely forgot about them while wearing. The pattern was a great fit, just 1 adjustment to lower the bust curve, I will definitely try more Itch to Stitch patterns. So, here is just the one photo after I finished it yesterday.
