As promised here is my toiles of the pietra shorts. Went for the size 6 as per my hip measurement but there was far to much fabric on the back waist band, the front was too long in the rise. So I forgot the next toile I used a linen mix size 4 for the front and size 2 for the back. I took 1cm from the front rise only so it wouldn't affect any other seam. I'm not very good at putting elastic in anything so these are not perfect. I'm only 5ft with an inseam 28" . I'm going to make both the trousers versions. They're quite an easy make.
