I have about 3-4 favourite places to buy fabric.

Abakhan Liverpool is relatively local to me (locals call it Elkilo) and is great for anything from cheap fabric for toiles etc, right up to designer stuff

I've discovered 1st for fabric 1stforfabrics.co.uk/

Also I love Dalston Mills. Especially their ongoing sales and 'bundles' dalstonmillfabrics.co.uk/clearance.html

Abakhan are really good for paper patterns too. I've picked up a couple TATB patterns for about 10-11 quid.

Local to me is Lady Sew and Sew. They have a big warehouse full of fabric in Henley and a smaller shop in Marlow. They also do a lot of quilting fabrics. ladysewandsew.co.uk/
