First project. Found second hand fabric that I found before buying the sewing machine. Was so happy when I realised its enough fabric to make it.

Notes for the future

If you're using different colour thread, decide which one you want to be the top stitch. It's okay if your forget. Take note of the fabric weight. Yes, they're all cotton but they behaved different and will affect how the pattern comes together

What I learned

1. You love contrasting thread colours. 2. It's okay to take breaks. 3. Make mistakes. It doesn't haven't be perfect right now. 3. Working at the desk is better. 4. Go slowly. 5. Practice on scrap fabric before starting the project.
