About this make
I have been wanting to make these for the longest time. I have a sage and cream checked double gauze linen blend from Lamazi to make it with. This is going to hopefully be super cool in the summer and excellent for mucking around in the holidays!

All finished! I love them! Had a slight panic that I might look like Andy Pandy but actually I think they are really cute! -

Yesterday I stitched up the straps - I thought I had to cut 4 but I actually had to cut 4 pairs so thank goodness I had long enough scraps left over to cut another 2 pairs! I've added the straps to the front and back bib, all very easy so far and sewn the outside seam of the legs. Todays tasks are to add the bias binding to the sides, pleat the front legs and sew them to the bib and then all that's left to do will be to sew the inside leg and hem with elastic! Sounds simple enough! -

Making a start on these today. The pattern is oversized and the sizes are a bit different in that each one spans a couple of sizes - so 14/18 and then 16/20, 18/22 etc. My measurements have me spanning all of these!! So I think I'm going to go for the sweet middle spot as that still gives me 7" ease through the hips. It has 5/8" seam allowance so I could always baste fit. I'm going straight in with the real deal... no toile!! -
