A fitted knit top and skirt set with scalloped hems

The toile is a yellow, ribbed knit fabric with a subtle vertical stripe detail in the same color. The pattern measurements put me into the 14/16. After tissue fitting the pieces to my dress form and basting the fabric pieces together, it was too long, too wide and too big overall. Re-cut the bodice pattern pieces to a straight size 10. This raised the apex, underarms, waistline etc to where it should sit as well as realigning the side seams to the correct position.
