About this make

The fabric is polka dot cotton which reminds me of the 50s. It is blue like faded denim. The occasion is for Donna in our quilting group. She has requested that we honor our heritage by wearing pearls and aprons when we meet at her house on her birthday on August 4th. I chose to go one step further and make a dress. I found the pattern on Simplicity. Com

    I made covered buttons and put in an invisible zipper. I used seam binding for the hem since it is so curved.

    I started cutting out the fabric and wow has my size changed over the years. I'm worried about the fitted design. We shall see.
