The Lydia Wrap Crop

Finished! 🙌 Today was just about finishing off everything, but it ended up being a little more. First I sewed my sleeves in and hemmed the skirt, then as I haven’t yet invested in an overlocker, I zigzag stitched the raw edges to finish it off. However! When I tried the top on, I didn’t like the way the fabric was sitting with the pockets that I added, so out came the scissors to chop them off, (Next time, listen to the pattern) I also reduced the side seams a little. So back to the sewing machine to redo the side seams and it’s finally done!

Didn’t get much done today. Prepared the sleeves, made up some pockets (which weren’t on the crop design but figured since it wouldn’t be a crop on me, I’d fit them in 😁), and who doesn’t like pockets. Sewed the sides up and finished there for the day.

It takes me longer than it probably should, but I managed to cut the fabric layout, sew the wraps, and sew the front and back facing and mains together and understitch the neckline.
