Coming To An Online Social?

Here's what to expect - 

You'll receive an email just before the event with the link to join - click that link at the time of the event and you'll be welcomed in. 

I'll do a little intro chat and let you know any tech details. 

You'll then be randomly sorted into groups of around 6 lovely sewists where you can talk about what your making, maybe ask for advice or recommendations, and before you know it you'll suddenly realise you've been chatting for nearly 2 hours and had the best time ever!

Hello! I'm joining the one tomorrow morning. How long is it due to last please?

I'm Mandie, from west Sussex and looking forward to my first bit of uninterrupted sewing time for a while! (working mum of 2 children age 7 and 1- hence not much sewing time!) 

I've gone for 2 hours for now, will see how that feels over the next few weeks. Can't wait to see you

I've booked on for tomorrow.   Don't usually get much sewing done on a weekend but i thought I'd try and break that 

Hi, I'm joining in this morning all the way from South Africa. I've been sewing since my teens, way back in the dark ages, but had a long gap. I picked up again about ten years ago and never looked back thanks mainly to the online sewing community. I'm both excited and a little nervous, as it's my first ever online social. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Thank you so much I loved the online social this morning :) was nice to chat to the lovely ladies in group B and I made good headway on my pattern prep! Will absolutely be joining another and I hope to actually start sewing stuff together then 😂

Hi Hayley! I've added myself for the next 2 Wednesdays. 2pm in the US works great for me and I'm really looking forward to this. But sometimes, life intrudes. If I need to cancel, how do we do that, as I'd hate to keep someone from getting my spot if I can't attend. I did look for the answer, but couldn't find it readily.  Thank you!

Hiya, if you go to the overall events page calendar the button on the event itself should show the option to "cancel booking" - clicking that will de-register you from the event 🙂

Perfect! I guess once I registered I never looked at the calendar again to see that addition. Thank you for pointing it out to me.
