Technically, she did do quilting when she was little but this is the first real make.  These are the Named Ninni in a 20 which would be a UK 22 and in this size they are bang on the size chart.  I've made them in a  14 and found them one size too big so this was drafted for the larger sizes in mind which is impressive for an older patten.

Used 100cm wide quilt cotton, turns out 114 means 114 so there is a triangle where no one can see on one of the back legs.  The lesson there was 'everything is fixable' . I was teacher so showed her how to do things, plus I did the finishing and ironing so she could concentrate on seams.  Two tiny mistakes that she caught within 2 inches because 'it feels weird' so she's already ahead of me on that one.  It was hillarious hearing the pfaff IDT chug slowly along at the start and then by the end she had her foot to the floor :D  Look at the band though, she did all of that herself and it's perfect.

We do not know why he does this but if you take a picture of a human in our house Duke rushes over, sits on their feet and stares at the camera looking terrified.

She's 21 next month but five foot in her socks so has real problems finding clothes that fit, she's learning to sew for herself so I don't keep getting presented with shiny and hard to sew fabric she's bought.  Her first jersey project will be using the Luxury box fabric from last month making the Arlington with the puffy sleeves,  and possibly a shorter sleeve version with any spare fabric    https://www.lovenotions.com/product/arlington-sweater because how cute

I'm not sure if tagging works on these forums but @Grace_Lyons has her own account now so you can expect more posts from her own self in the future :D
