Turning very narrow loops

I have been trying to sew very narrow loops of fabric to make ties - but they are so narrow I'm struggling with the safety pin method - does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't make many straps or ties, but I have used the Prym turning tool set on a narrow button loop. The set comes with three different thicknesses of tubes and sticks and is very easy to use.

I also use a turning set.  It's a series of tubes of different sizes.

This is similar but I think mine is a different brand.

Yes I love these tools! I've also seen a technique (which funnily enough I've just filmed a tutorial on) where you use a piece of piping cord - wrap your fabric around the cord RST and sew across the short end through the cord. Then use a zipper foot to sew a line of stitching down the length of the strip with the cord on the inside. Trim down the SA and then you can pull the cord through turing the loop the right way out

I've seen that technique - must give it a try sometime.
