Cutting yoke on the bias

I'm making a shirt and would like to cut the yoke on the bias. Should I do both layers on the bias or just the outside one?! It's a burrito method construction. Thanks!

Hi Katherine

Is cut the internal yoke on the grain as this is more stable and will stop the outer bias cut yoke from stretching out of shape.

It's the Cheyenne shirt/ tunic by hey June patterns. I made a test version in chambray- was probably doing that the last time I was at a social on here I think- and I love it! I'll try and upload a photo at some point... I have some tweaks to make but the plan was always to make it in a soft brushed cotton check, so that's what I'm going to cut out.
