What do you enjoy listening to or watching as you sew? Perhaps an audio book or podcast keeps you company, YouTube videos or an old favourite on the TV, music or complete blissful silence?

Hmm it depends on my mood, projects I am working on what time of a day it is. When I am cutting out (do it in sitting room on foldable table) I usually have a TV on
When I am sewing/pressing it is usually sewing YT videos or music (I am big Strau Kids fan and their music makes my brain happy). Occasionally I will listen to audiobooks on my headset.
Mostly TV/DVD which I don't need to concentrate on. Sometimes I listen to music, but having the TV on feels like I'm not on my own - if that makes sense.
Totally understand that :)
I listen to music when I sew. I find that I can’t concentrate on the TV or YouTube as I get so involved with sewing, so for me it is headphones in and music on!
I do it sometimes too. Especially when I have more complex sew to do. But I can't do it while overlooking- once accidentally cut a whole in my project because I was "chair dancing " 🙈🤣
I used to listen to the radio, but a few years ago I found that I simply needed all my concentration for the sewing. I then realised that I had dropped The Archers after an entire lifetime!
Sometimes if I am simply hemming or tacking, I'll put some music on, also when I'm ironing.
Youtube while actively at my sewing machine. I listen to music when making up patterns and cutting fabric. Other time in the sewing room I'll be watching a DVD, I still have a large collection.
It depends. I need complete silence when I need to concentrate on the instructions (listening to french-speaking audio-book or podcast while reading english instructions is not that easy) and when I use my machines. The other thimes, I listen to podcasts or audio-books.
