Although I most often reach for my overlocker due to convenience I do love the finish of a French seam!

I mostly use my overlocker but it really dependson the project. If I'm using a delicate fabric I tend to use a French seam.

I vioted overlocker because I prefer it whenever it's suitable, but I do love doing a proper French or Hong King seam.

A French seam is my very favourite, love how neat the inside of garments look with this seam. I also use a flat felled seam on the shirts I’ve made for my other half.

I've voted overlocker but as others have said it depends on the fabric and garment.

As everyone else it seems - overlocker mostly , unless the fabric dictates a French seam

It depends on the project

Love binded seams on denim skirts (heavier weight fabric skirts), sometimes various projects will have various finishes

Often I will make a blouse with french side seams, lined your and either overlocked or bonded arm seam.

A lot depends on the fabric too

I love love, love a French seam. Sometimes I forget, and even use them when a seam is going to be totally enclosed another way.😝.
