I have a fancy to make a wrap dress! I am 5ft tall with a 42 inch full bust and 39inch high bust, uk size 16 - 18 with narrow shoulders, and I am at a loss as to which dress to go. I fancy a floaty viscose rather than jersey and have been eyeing up the Closet Core Elodie. Any suggestions please?

The Roseclair by Cashmerette might be a good contender. Cashmerette caters for a range of cup sizes so you can choose a smaller size to ensure a good fit for your shoulders and still accommodate your boobs. They also give fantastic pattern instructions to ensure a good fit.

Thank you. I had a look at the Roseclair and the sleeves are slightly too puffy for me. I like the non tiered version.

In the clubhouse, Jenny from Cashmerette has answered to someone asking how to remove the "puff" from the Roseclair sleeves. She recommends to use a reverse splash and spread to reduce the length of the cap sleeve.

Wow, thank you. I have just watched a YT video on how to do that so the Roseclair might now be a contender!

I’m 4’10 and loved making the wrap dresses from The Bold One. She’s a New Zealand designer. Dresses did from bust size and very easy to make. www.theboldone.co.nz

I love Betty by Sinclaire Patterns its faux wrap for knits. They do petite height.

They also have Eden wrap dress with bust cups but I haven't made it

I've made New Look 6301 a few times which is easy although it is designed for knits. It is a faux wrap as the skirt is 'normal' and not wrap.
