Help please! Elevenses Backpack

I'm flummoxed! I'm trying to pin the back to the bottom and sides and I just can't seem to get it aligned. Does part of the back turn into part of the bottom or vice versa? Any help to bring a bit of clarity would be massively appreciated. X

Wow, what. beautiful looking pattern! I haven't come across this one before. But looking at the pictures it looks as though the back piece might also form the base and comes up to join the quilted panel on the front - so forms an inch or so of the front of the backback as well. Without knowing much more or seeing the instructions I couldn't be sure but that's how it looks from the photos.

I got there in the end. You were right Hayley, it forms the bottom as well. ❤️

I really did enjoy the challenge and I learnt a lot. I'm pleased that I was able to re-cycle some old jeans that had been languishing in my stash for a long time! I'm already thinking about fabrics for sewing this again.
