I am in full on planning mode for filming video tutorials for our Plus members - it's been a little too hot to film anything the last few weeks in a closed up room with studio lights blaring!
I'd love to know one skill you really want to nail down? Be it sewing the perfect dart, pattern matching, seam finishes, inserting sleeves or sewing zips.
Definitely pattern matching, it confuses me so much, especially on jackets, shirts or blouses - in other words, should I be matching the centre front or the centre seam plus seam allowance. Yes, I'm an over-thinker 😉
I'm hopeless at inserting invisible zips! I can never get the top edges to match🤪
I would love to make a fully lined Emily dress. Square neck. I have the fabric, but scared to mess it up as I love the fabric so much.
A tutorial would be amazing.
Would you line the skirt/peplum and sleeves as well or just the bodice?
