I want to make Sandra Coat by Merchant and Mills. have some lovely herringbone fabric which is a very lightweight wool (from market and a bargain). However I think it will be too droopy so was thinking of a quilted lining to give it body. Any advice and hints on lining with quilted fabric would be much appreciated.

Oooh this sounds interesting. It's not something I've done before, hopefully someone can give a few tips. Are you planning to only quilt the lining as opposed to quilting the lining and outer fabric together?
